Why Vinyl?
There is no doubt that Vinyl is making a comeback. People have a special place for vinyl. Some say that it is warmer than cd’s, others feel it has a higher dynamic range. According to this New York Times article,
when the French electronica duo Daft Punk released “Random Access Memories” in mid-May, 6 percent of its first-week sales — 19,000 out of 339,000 — were on vinyl
What does this mean? Well for one we are seeing more budget minded high end tables than ever before. You can still find your old favorites and the new hits on vinyl and people that enjoy the art form for what it is are happy about the way things are turning.
